Our Mission is to spay and neuter as many cats and dogs as possible to reduce overpopulation and keep animals out of shelters. Catsnippers offers free or low cost spay, neuter, vaccinations and educational services to Southern California communities in need. Applicants must meet certain income criteria to obtain free or low cost services. We believe that safe, high volume sterilization combined with trap and release efforts is the best method of population control.
On a national average, 6.3 million companion animals enter shelters every year; 3.1 million are dogs and 3.2 million are cats. Over one million shelter animals are euthanized in the USA on a yearly basis . One hundred percent of donations goes towards fulfilling our mission.
